ReplyDeleteI have a question in relation to school safety. Is there or will there be a BIG push to have a SRO at every school? I understand the monetary strain it will put on a school system, but i really feel that in order for schools to be considered a "SAFE SCHOOL" we would need someone on campus fully trained in all areas of School Safety.
Keith, You are spot on with you assessment . We really need an SRO at every school NOW .The value of the SRO should be equal to that of faculty member 's at all schools. The safety of the student should take priority over all aspects of the campus. Our State Government must provide funding to ensure that all students and faculty members are safe .
DeleteMr. Keith and Jerry, I also feel SRO's would provide our schools with safer environments. We do not have funding in our school district to provide SRO's. I wish our state and federal governments would provide the much needed funding to provide SRO's to ensure our students, faculty and staff are safe.
